In The Shop - Disciple Off Road

We recently lost Dodger, our Springer Spaniel, soon after retiring due to unforeseen medical reasons. He had a great run of 10 years of service and grateful for the time we had.

We began to throw around the idea of a new dog for our family which led us to meet Koda, a 9 month old German Shepherd who has been nothing but amazing. Can’t wait to get her out on some trips!

Losing a furry friend is always hard - they're like another kid and especially like a sibling for kids growing up. I was the exact same age as my first German Shepherd named Brando and we even had birthdays just days apart. He passed in 2012 and since then we've had Ripley (another German Shepherd) who is 10 now too and we are starting to get worried but she's shown no health concerns so far.

Congratulations to your fam! German Shepherds are the best dogs and Koda looks like a badass! Boy or girl?

Jeremy, sorry to hear about your "furby", that is a hard thing to go through.

Now congrats on your new "furby", just remember that no matter what anyone says, you're not replacing one, you're starting a new chapter.

Now a hint, get LOTS of KONG toys, she's gonna be a chewer.
