Hydrolocked 3.6L 2012 jeep Jk

That's a shame but a lesson learned the hard way, I don't know what's worse using ur bullbar as a recovery point smh the tow truck driver should have known better or not going through that puddle slow at first to see how deep it is. Either way you had a blast and learned a valuable lesson. I still don't get why any jeep CAI manufacturer still leaves those open inlets they should all be boxed off by the hood like the stock CAI or like the airaid system.

Chains are for securing loads not for pulling people out of crap. I have seen more than one chain from people doing this become flying missiles. One of which went right thru someones back window. Use straps and no hooks just d rings.

Haha all you guys have great points well you gotta learn one way or another I learned how to take apart my intake manifold tho!:) I knew the bull bar was a bad idea but it was already like 60% off because my friends like to nerf-_- still I'm glad I learned my lesson:) runs great after a long days work the next morning

same exact thing happened to me with my 3.8 a few weeks back
i have a fully open CAI hit about a 3' water crossing going a bit too fast and did all sorts of damage
luckily my insurance covered me as "flood" damage and replaced my whole engine just payed my deductible and was good to go might be something to look into if you cracked your block like i did

Where was your block cracked at?! Any symptoms come with it?? I have been having some engine issues lately
