I wouldn't exactly say it was fun. Lol The 74 was on a car dolly so I think that helped a little than it being completely up on a trailer. Dropped the 74 off at my grandparents in CA and the rest of the drive was much better.

Moab is full of excellent condo rentals that can accommodate both families in one unit. We rented one earlier this month with 3 bedrooms for 3 couples, but even the 2 bedroom ones generally have fold out couches and roll out beds for kids. Just check online for Moab condo rentals. Most have everything you need to fix your own meals and washers and dryers. I apologize if someone else has already offered this suggestion as I didn't read the whole thread.
