Hinrichs build

seems fine so far with the 4.10, just need to figure out if i will need to balance the wheels or not yet. havnt been farther than the liquor store lol

The 37's are more like 36 (measure from the center of the hub down to the ground and x2),now for 36 if you look at the chart below for manual you will see that with 4.1 at 70 you should be around 2136 rpm (provided you adjusted your tac with a procal).
With 4.88 you should be at 2542,perfect right on the blue.:twocents:

Hmm when I have the money maybe I'll regear...only on the highway for a little on the way to work normally..7 mile drive..so at the moment not important

I think this week and next weekend wheeling will determine if I need them or not, anyone know what the normal cost to have gears installed would be? Also would 4.88 or 5.13 be better?

Around 1200 bucks....5.13 is also good ,bear in mine that on the highway at 80 is gonna be a little loud between the tires and the higher rpm's

This chart was created for the labelled tire size, not the measured tire size.

Also, if you have 37's and the pentastar, I'd go 4.88. I think 5.13 would be too much. Had 5.13s in my 3.8 auto, but the new motor/tranny combo doesn't need that deep of gears...

5.13s are perfect with the 37s and the 3.6L. 👍

But that is according to what I have in my jeep, not the gear chart. ;)

Then the chart is not very accurate, I have 295/70/17's and according to specs they are 33.3 and on my 2012 auto with 4.56 at 70 I'm at 2785 measure with a digital tach
