Hinrichs build

I also would like to be on the road more for sales at work and the 4 door makes more sense. It'll be built up just like my 2 door but I feel looks more professional in a way.

Im in the same boat, it doesn't make much since but I feel you're completely right. If you were to put the exact mods you have on your 2 door on to a 4 door it would definitely look more professional and sophisticated I don't know what it is lol. One of the reasons I want to trade in my 2dr.

having the extra room for stuff I'd wanna carry helps as well. I sell industrial pipe valves and fittings. Family business

Drove around to all the dealerships over the weekend to check out some of the colors, amazed by how little inventory each had. The one however had the new orange, but I didnt like it as much as I do seeing it online. So I will be staying with white.

Other than that spend most of yesterday just finding all of my stock parts. Havnt started the tear down yet tho.

I do have to find a set of wheels tho for the trade in, and figure out how I will run reverse lights.

You should be able to have your wheels and tires swapped for the the ones on the new rig after it is yours. Just pre arrange it in the deal. As far as lights you should be able to go to a chain parts store or online and grab cheap lights to wire in. I have seen some use one or more of the .75" LEDs per side. Good luck a new rig is always fun.

Thats kind of my plan, but I wont be able to drive home on 37s being completly stock. I mean I can just pull the fenders once I leave the lot and throw my flats on tho I guess.

You can still borrow my wheels lol and you still need to let me know what you need from my stock suspension lol

Bushwacker flats back on, and pulled all the stickers and dug out the full doors. Wanted to pull more but ran out of time.

If you want to drive up to Boston I can hook you up with 5 sahara wheels and tires with 10k for free or tools if you are feeling generous. ;)

If it wasnt so far Id take you up on that offer. I may just end up borrowing some wheels, and having the dealer keep the rubi wheels for my jeep.

Felt kind of good to take all the stickers off again, hell if I keep it, its a nice fresh start anyway. Switching fenders wasnt as fun as it was a pita to get all the clips out but managed to save a few. I love the look of trimmed factory flares, but something about the bushwacker flats looks soo good and more finished. Maybe its due to the cut I did more than anything tho.

Going back to full doors was not something I ever really planned on doing again but it was time for those as well. I can say....I missed power locks and windows. Windows more cuz they are clean and clear lol, and the locks are just nice to have. Weird with the weight difference tho and how different they shut. Someday ill order new windows for my halfs, if I keep them. There is one piece to the wiring for the halfs that I have not been able to find, other than ordering a power lock wiring harness for them, which I should have had anyway running them full time and heated mirrors would have been nice.

I love the creature comfort in the jk real game changer. I have a bunch of fender clips if you need some. Also a front bumper w/ fog lights. Also some axles if you want to keep your current ones and trade it in with the crappy ones. :yup:

I have bags of them actually lol, was amazed how I broke none of them when I pulled the fenders off, but broke most trying to get them out. I actually kept all my bumpers and stuff so good on that. Was going to pull the front and rear last night but it was hot and just didnt feel like fighting with it alone.

Let me know if you sell your half doors. Ill buy them Jim

Will do. While I do love them, just not sure how itll be on the 4 door, well mainly how the doors lock in the back has me confused.

Half doors on a four door are probably like my old 09 that didn't have power locks. You had you reach your hand back to the lock from the front. Needless to say, it was a pita.
