I have 35 Toyo on Slab mounted to the stock tire carrier/tailgate. All i did is i reinforced the stock carrier with metal plates on the back/inside the tailgate. I also replaced all eight bolts. It is not the best option but it works good so far obviously it is a temp solution untill i get frame/body mounted carrier.
