Damn that's some good mileage! I'm starting to get diesel envy lol. I wonder how it will change though once you add some bigger tires. I would still imagine better mpg than the 3.6 with similar build.
The sweet spot on my rigs for fuel consumption is about 40 mph…They seem to have a sweet spot, the Duramax is best at 65 but that’s too slow
Yeah I did notice I got around 22-24 around 45...hahaThe sweet spot on my rigs for fuel consumption is about 40 mph…
Impressive!Nothing really to add to this thread.
Still loving the diesel and completely happy with that decision. It did it’s first regeneration cycle of the exhaust system the other day while Mrs. Trout was driving. Naturally she freaked out thinking the truck was going to leave her stranded. Of course it didn’t and within a few minutes of driving on the freeway, the regen was complete.
Went for a longish drive yesterday and set the cruise control at 75mph. I did not touch the brake or gas pedal for 170+ miles. Who says Jeeps get terrible mpg?

Totally get it.... Lookin forward to seeing the changes.Lift, wheels/tires.
I was all hot and bothered to get this thing all done up when we picked it up. As the world stopped and parts were impossible to find, I just kinda lost interest. It seems to be getting easier to find stuff now so we’ll see. I’m in no rush.
A larger grill…What’s Next on the list?
They are very bright. I’m going to swap the clear lenses for amber so they can serve as dust/chase lights. Those lights look really good. I bet they help a lot.
