I don't know. After reading this thread, I'm beginning to think the engineers at Jeep don't know shit.. All of the things that a CAI is good for really aren't a benefit for Jeeps.
I’d be interested to see dyno results. If someone can prove an increase in (usable) not top end horsepower and torque then I’d consider a CAI. Near as I can tell the only thing a CAI does on these Jeeps is make more noise at WOT.You guys like to put big tires on the Jeep and run then over rucks but not help your engine to breathe better to turn those tires, don’t get me wrong, I am put 37’s on my truck and going to be putting a trailer with it. So I would like the engine to work to it best potential more air flow will help the engine to do the job I am going to be using it for, rock crawling and running in mud as well
You can keep you jeep breathing through a small tube it you like, I know the better the airflow the better the engine will work
#StormyDanielsSuck, bang, blow, if you aren't increasing all three you aren't increasing anything.
Depends on the application.Suck, bang, blow, if you aren't increasing all three you aren't increasing anything.
Should be a weight savings since no self respecting Jeeper will want to ride in itUp next to spice up that CAI....
