help with ticking sound while driving

You can always search CL or find another Jeeper with a spare, not abused shaft on the cheap. But the long term fix will be to get an aftermarket shaft like Olram30 said. Whats the sense in throwing any more money at it if you will need to replace it with an aftermarket shaft at some point right?:thumb:

Remove the front shaft, drive, listen to hear if any more noise.

I had a ticking sound recently , thought it was my driveshaft broken but when a friend advised I open up the diff , it turned out I blew the ring gear up , don't know if that's your case but something I would check

And same thing was happening , as my speed increased it got louder and louder , I would check the diff , mine also sounded like it was in the front but turned out to be in the rear ..

Verify that this is the problem first. If buying used make sure it is compatible with your rig.

Not yet I took off drive shaft and still ticking at 4 wheel parts now and they can't find it either but they are saying ball joint is bad as well

Wow guys you will not believe what it was. There was a loose tire weight on the drivers side and it was doing all the noise!!! Holly hell
