Hello

Had an 80 (I think, 37 yes ago) J10 & loved it. Only problem I ever had was when I let a shop replace the water pump. I had one with the serpentine belt system and they installed a pump for the standard belt system. Serpentine system uses a reverse rotation water pump. As you can imagine, my J10 was over heating and spewing all over the place. Had to take it back for the right pump to be installed. (I knew what was wrong, they didn't 😔). Seems like there was a couple years they used both belt drive systems? Never another problem after that. Hated letting it go, but a growing family came 1st.

Ya man that sucker runs and drives great no issues just the bed is pretty much gone on mine so alot of body work!

Wow, hope you can find what you need to get her back in shape. If it's too far gone, maybe you can turn up a good, used bed someplace? But I know those years are getting harder to find. Lots of wrecking yards crushed older vehicles to make room for newer models & higher profits.

Yea ive been running into that I've found a bunch of the long beds the short beds are getting hard to find for sure
