My wife and I started our Jeep Wayoflife 4 years ago. Bought a 2015 JKU Willys from a Copart auction with 33k miles and very little damage. We enjoyed having a low mileage Jeep that we only paid 10K for. As many do, we wanted to upgrade and ordered a loaded up JLU Rubicon Diesel and sold the Willys for more than double what we had invested. We liked the diesel for sure, but soon discovered that a loaded Rubicon was way too much Jeep for our needs. We actually missed the simplicity of the bare bones 6spd Willys.
We started watching Eddie's series on the Basic Sport Wrangler (Pippy?). It made us wish we had kept the Willys, so we sold the Rubicon for 10k more than we paid and are now ordering a Basic 2 Door JL Willys with a 6spd, AC and Half Doors. Sarge Green of course. Go Sarge or don't go at all.
