Hey guys, just wanted to say hi. Really enjoyed the Wayalife videos and now the forum, heaps of useful information.
I've got a black 99 TJ with few lil mods like 2.5" lift, 31" Maxxis Trepadors, front auto locker and a home made front bumper with a winch.

Cheers

Best post here... now I know I can take my JK with me when I try to become a citizen of New Zealand... lol

Yea best to bring the JK with you, $62,000 for a new 4dr Rubicon here and most upgrade parts you need to ship over from US which makes it very expensive, basically doubles the price at least. I priced up getting Metalcloak front and rear fenders with the sliders for my TJ and all up would be around $4200 NZD.

Welcome to Wayalife Brad. How do you like those Trepadors?

The Trepadors have been really good, alot of the trails around here are mud and clay, just wish I had gone bigger than 31" from the start. 35" has become the standard for most here and all the tracks are rutted making it a lil difficult with the 31"'s, but plenty of winching practice haha.
Only bad thing about the Trepadors is I have a 50km stretch of beach not far from me that I go to a lot with the dogs and they just dig in and bog down too much in the soft sand, but I supose you're goin to get that with any MT.

Welcome to Wayalife!

You have some beautiful scenery over there from everything I've seen.

Yea there is some awesome scenery here, my aim is to see more of it in the Jeep this year, heres some pics of a beach about 20min from my house and the beach itself is actually listed as a public road.IMG_0549.jpgIMG_0566.jpgIMG_0613.jpg

Hi and welcome from a fellow Kiwi. This is a very useful forum with loads of info.
Nice pic's. We are extremely lucky with scenery here but I agree not so lucky with the price and availability of aftermarket stuff.
