Hi All,
Laurence here. I’m in Edmonds, Washington. About 23 miles north of Downtown Seattle, and about 5 miles East of the Boeing Everett plant where the 777, and 787 are made. I just bought a ‘23 Wrangler Sport S 4 door last month. It’s mostly a “Mall Krawler” at the moment, but I have plans. Nothing too crazy as it’s a daily driver and gas prices are pretty insane right now. It’s got the MHEV Pentastar too. I didn’t want the Turbo. I just got out of a ‘19 Subaru Forester. Don’t get me wrong, I love Subaru’s but I was completely unaware that you can’t really “fix” a CVT. You fix it, by replacing it. At $8K-$9K. That is untenable. I wanted a normally aspirated automatic transmission, and I would’ve gone for a manual if it weren’t for the fact that I have a 16 year old that’s about to get her license. Neither she nor my wife can drive a stick. Sheesh…….life skills!
Looking forward to communicating with you all!
Cheers,
Laurence M. Schwarz
