Hard Rock, Ocala, Florida

Calling wouldn't hurt, if you do call also mention the weekend we plan to go. In the past I've been down and the 4x4 section was partially closed due to other events going on. I believe the area is big enough to accommodate at least 40-50 vehicles without issue. I mentioned limiting group size based on ease of maneuverability on the trials. I say ever everybody's welcome!!! We just may want to break into small riding groups once we get there. Each group going in a different direction. Keeping in mind that HardRock isn't that big so we'll be bumping into each other a lot throughout the day. CB's will be very helpful. I would like to see the whole group meet for lunch so we can have a little time to meet each other. All in all, I believe it gonna be a great time!!

CB's are fairly easy to install and can be done in about 20 minutes so if you get in time we can do it at the same time we do your lift.

Okay thanks! I figured it wouldn't be too hard. I finally have it all locked down and am purchasing tomorrow!
 
I'll have to re-look at the video. Cam's jeep is easier to spot due to color and size/mods, and well it is a TJ. I look for stickers too on the windshields but.....

Sad thing is mine doesn't stand out much either to be honest, it's not a bright color and I don't have the spiffy bumpers/fenders/lights and all that stuff yet. Dealing with mechanical stuff before pretty stuff. 4WD engagement on Saturday made an awful racket and kept slipping out and now the jeep is lurching... so.. something is up with my transmission. *le sigh* Bringing it to the shop sometime this week, or Monday at the latest. (appt is Monday but trying to get in sooner) Not sure if it's the cable, the transfer case, etc. I swear, I am just a few miles from 50k and all hell is breaking loose. lol

Hahaha. I wish I knew enough to wrench it myself, but I don't - nor do I have a place to wrench in over a weekend. Bringing it to the professionals. =) At this rate my down payment for a house is dwindling fast. ;) I'm honestly hoping it's just something minor like needing a new cable and/or maybe the relocator bracket for the 4wd cable due to my lift. I already need an SYE and driveshaft in the back, which I keep delaying getting due to other stuff. (Needed all new ball joints, then axle seal replacement, got extra outer seals and a front locker.... plus the lift and 5 new tires in Feb.....ugh! I should be getting a bonus in July, but in the meantime stuff keeps needing work.)

All right Jeep fans it is time to set up another run to Hard Rock in Ocala, FL. Looking at the calendar and the weather it looks like the weekend of June 7th is going to be a good weekend. So mark your calendars and let me know if you want to go. Not sure how busy it will be but we will just have to play it by ear. I will update the meeting location and time as it gets closer and who is coming. I know for me it is about a 2 hour drive from Jacksonville. Not sure from South Florida.

{EDIT} it will be $25 per Jeep to get in and paid at the entrance.
