Goodyear Duratracs a must!

Love my duratracs in the snow. Best I've had on any of my jeeps.

I have 33 duratracs and the Measure 32.4 im upgrading to 35 on 17s. So was the true size for a 35 duratrac?

I must agree. I ran mine today in the snow for the first time, and I was not disappointed.

Pfff please...we didn't even get enough to get these tires to sweat. Your tires have been through (without incident mind you) nearly 2' of snow. :D

The guys running 315/70/17, what psi you running for around town?

And mine only measure 33 3/4.

Would like a true 35 on the next round. But very happy with performance.

Im running 315/75/16, and run about 30psi (now probably around 28-29 since it got colder out since I last filled em.) Add 2psi when up to temp. Ride quality and handling are very nice. For ideal chalk test results, it seems most run 28.

I wouldn't even think twice if they had them in 37's.

Goodyears logic (seriously, this is what they told me)...

37" tire is for a hardcore wheeler.

Hardcore wheelers require a hardcore tire, hence, MTRs. They do not think there is a market for a 37" duratrac. I even have a discount tire rep email goodyear telling them that there are a lot of members asking for a 37" duratrac, but no luck. :(

Well, I was a big fan of duratracs until yesterday. Great wear, great in wet weather, good in snow. Well, Snow wheeling up at Rausch Creek in Pa. Yesterday my sons jku had a chunck of ice cut through the sidewall like someone stuck a knife through it. No pinch, or scuff around the cut just a gash clean through. This is the second issue we've had with the weak sidewalls on the DT's. Had a sidewall lug tear off a flap of rubber with it when it went. Will be going to nitto's or MTR's next.

My wife's CRV with General Arctics does great in anything up to a foot. I don't even bring out the heavy artillery unless we get 18" + :D Actually, in my town specifically (where I live) we got 6", but I spent the weekend further south, and they only got 3. My comment was to be taken literally, as he actually has my old wheels/tires and they have monstered through A LOT of snow.
