Crap... Looking at the chart again, 5.38s are in the green for both 35s and 37s. Any issues with 5.38s on the D44s?

I've heard the ring gear starts getting thin in the 44 so it seems like a lot of folks who run those (the 5.38) are also running a 60 axle. I have found the 5.37 to be a perfect mach for my 37's, and I don't worry about my 44 failing. Plenty of power in regular traffic and in the mountains, RPM's a little higher than stock. I should add I have a 3.6 auto.

Yeah, I'm a 3.8 auto, so the chart is different.
