My wife is being relocated to Sydney but we haven’t started looking at areas to live just yet. Considering inland just a bit so we’re not in the middle of the city. Going to check things out this September while I’m in Perth for an Event.

Sydney is a very expensive place to live. We have some friends who live in the Baulkham hills area (N/W of the city) Great transport into the city from there. They reckon its ok living there.

Indeed and that why we’re looking outside the city, even if it means a long commute. Her company has a few offices throughout central and eastern AUS so there is a chance that we’ll end up landing somewhere else.
