Funny or Strange Jeep Compliments

Not really a compliment, but a lot of times I ask people, mostly girls, if they want to go offroading the first comment is "i dont want to die". I guess people still think jeeps flip so easily.

Usually while mall crawling and hitting my local bar, I get random girls that jump in the jeep when the doors are off and take pics. Gets better when I start the jeep from inside and see them stumble out of it lol. Usually get asked if I can take one offroading and I am always more than happy to do it.
Also I received a fake citation from the mall security for expired meter and he wrote down on the description "hummer" only yo cross it out and write JEEP after he saw the badge lol.

I was out on a trail with a friend of mine in the passenger seat. He was several beers into his day, and were about 20 minutes into the trail when out of the blue he blurts out, 'How do you roll the windows down in this thing?'

.... Pointing, I said, 'you have to roll that crank on the door there.'

He goes, "Oh, old school! I like it!!!"

I thought it was funny....lol... If he was 20-something I could almost understand, but this is a 40yo man we're talking about!

I get that allot seeming I have half doors with the zipper windows, when I pull up to the gate on base an unzip them people get a chuckle out of it too.

Gas buddy's lowest price in town was pretty packed out... pulled in close behind a guy in a Patriot. Went in to pay cash while he was still pumping and from the window, could see him using his iphone. All of the sudden he subtly aimed it at my Jeep and I assume he was either taking a selfie gassing up, or I'll take that as a compliment! :brows:

When I had my RHD I got pulled over so the guy could ask about it. Was really cool, I thought I was in trouble haha

Definitely..that assumption still exists up here in NE. I always tell people it's more about the driver than the vehicle.

Making a left through an intersection early this morning, saw a blue Jeep and as I did a side wave, my daughter laughed and said, 'Boy that guy was impressed with your Jeep!' He didn't wave but tracked us through our turn, nodding his head continually to... eh... show his approval! :brows:

nither funny or strange but...

one of my oldest friends, (25+ years) went out and bought a Jeep after he had a ride in mine on opening day at the Texas Rangers Ballpark. It was the first time any of my friends saw it and they were climbing all over it like they were kids or something. We were all at least 35 years of age at the time. Now he calls me up and asks all kinds of questions about what to get and what I think about this or that. Its cool that we both have Jeeps now and we go out wheelin when we can. LOVE IT, IT IS MOST DEFINATELY A JEEP THING.

One of my duagther's frinds needed a ride one day so we dropped her off at her house...when we pulled up her Mom had just pulled up as well and saw my Jeep. That was the last time she rode in my Jeep, my daughter said that the girls Mom gave her grief cause she was riding in a dangerous vehicle and she couldn't understand why I would even own a Jeep if I had children. :banghead: gimme a break people!!!

I was called to bid on an epoxy floor install at a local strip joint. When I was leaving there were 3 hot strippers hanging out crawling all over my Jeep. This one hot little thing looked at me and said " Dude! My Mom would blow you for a ride in that thing!"

Still can't figure out if that was a compliment or not.......

Well I was at a stop light and this hummer pulled up to the left if me and rolled down his window and said " bet you I can take this thing places that you cant". I looked over at him and said "oh yeah?, I'm pretty sure that my jeep will make it to the mall just fine" the drivers buddy started laughing so hard and at the same moment the window then rolled up and they drove off... Lmfao

This is really, really funny. Filing it away for future use if a Hummer owner gets froggy in traffic.

Went to pick up our new GCL and the salesperson says "your JK looks awesome, the lift really sets it off" to his dismay I told him they are only bigger tires with spacers.

I once walked up to my jeep after a Avalanche game(i work for them) and noticed a kiss mark with lip stick on the jeep. Then she wrote with lip stick Im in love with your jeep. Drew a heart and said S.A. It has happened a few times. I think its the same girl.

Everyone at work Thinks my Jeep can do anything and everything lol. and my boss will plan a fishing trip as a team building. Guess what, he gets a ride with me and offers to take the top off himself.

I was at a red light when a FJ pulled up next to me, He started waving out his window trying to get my attention and said. How's that mini van motor treating you. I said You wanna find out? We both punched it and he couldnt keep up. Little did he know I have the 2012 285Hp 3.6L

Thank you for making my morning, awesome!

LOL!
