Front Driveshaft limitations???

I have an Adams 1310 front shaft on a 12 with 37's Dented my stock rear shaft and I was getting an annoying vibration so i pulled the shaft and it went away.So its time to upgrade again While im waiting for the new shaft is it possible to drive on just the front shaft alone??

It’s possible but probably not the best idea

Speed will be your limiting factor, basically you will be in 4WD without power to the rear axle.

It's been done when a rear driveshaft is damaged and removed, but interstate speeds aren't advised.

You’re fine. Everyone who says you can’t has never done it. I’ve driven 70 miles on a front shaft on the highway at highway speeds with no issues.

Done the same, numerous times and once for over 300 miles.

same i installed a PR44 then drove it 3 hours on the highway to a shop with the rear shaft pulled. 65 ish mph
