For crying out loud, WASH YOUR JEEP!

Nope. I think it looks better with some dirt. Also in the spring through fall here it's top down & often doors off. Too much of a hassle.

I have a 2011 and have never waxed the shit! Now, I have taken it to a spray wash and used that nice smelling colored wax on it. I was at a gas station the other day and had not washed it for about a month. Some lady pulled up in a Gecko and came over and said "Wow you use your jeep like it should be used and mine is all clean".

I guess I am that guy..... I wash mine only to get it dirty. Drove around For 3 weeks before I decided it was time to go out again!

^ been there done that. I realize how much mudding destroys vehicles and pretty much eats right through the clear cut if it isn't washed soon enough. Now I try keeping mine clean and I'm having rust issues already from playing in the mud and waiting for days to clean it

I do not really mud. Found a puddle at KOH and decided to do it. Only done it once before and know that the clean up sucks. But I am that guy. I wash it only to go get it dirty and leave it that way.

I try to keep mine clean most of the time but it is pollen season here in the south. So for the time being it just gets hosed off.

I find it kind of annoying. I got friends who ask me what's the point of having a jeep if your gonna keep it clean?!? I drive straight to the car wash after I'm out in the mud. Dried, caked on mud is the worst.

The first and ONLY time I took the jeep for mud. If its in my way, I'll deal with it, but I won't go out of my way to find it again...

of course, gotta clean it up right afterwards :twocents:

I am really bad at washing mine, but then again when I take it to work, it gets filthy just driving through our parking lot since its all stones, and usually lots of little puddles that end up covering the sides with spots even driving as slow as possible.

Good thing I have white since it always looks "Clean" ;)

I'm also OCD about my Jeep. I keep a backpack full of cleaner products, towels, and rags in the back at all times. Typically I wash mine every week with a quick cleanup of the interior. Sometimes I have to go 2 weeks, which bugs the hell out of me!

My OCD is acting up just seeing the mud on your fenders...

LoL!

Right!? Me too! Thank goodness I had stock tires at that time... the 37s would have made the fenders a disaster..

Mud - 2 hours of fun, 2 months to clean up.

oh man, every time I work on the jeep I have the pressure washer right there.

Installing my bumper like:
Step 1: Remove the stock bumper
Step 2: pressure wash front of jeep
step 3: dry
Step 4: Pressure wash where mud is still visible
Step 5: dry
Step 6: bumper install step 1

I usually get those comments from people who don't actually own a jeep. Seems to be one of those old school misconceptions that they are just completely indestructible toys.
