Flame "Fire Engine" Red Rubicon 2 Door Build

Yesterday put a new Gibson exhaust on. Have always liked the split rear design. Sounds really good especially when you accelerate aggressively. No rice burner either. Was very concerned about that. IMG_20190810_145708105_HDR.jpg

After years of contemplating this mod. I finally did it. Installed the esp kill switch. Tired of the traction control fighting me in certain situations off-roading. Even though they state the esp program is fully off in 4lo, it is not. ABS is still active and causes issues in sand and other situations. Now I can have total control over it. Jeez, remember the days when this computer nanny stuff didn't exist and we actually knew how to drive our Jeeps.

Been awhile since my last post. Lots has happened. Bought wife her dream color Jeep and have been having fun with it since last October. Still have little red. Clifford is our trail beast now. Also picked up my new to me daily driver 4.0 manual TJ in November. One of my KC led headlights croaked. Company don't make them anymore and I'm not too fond of their new gravity pro series. Went with the rough country projector led. I'm actually impressed with them. They have a much better beam cutoff than the KC's did. IMG_20200907_101147396.jpg

Changed the intake option I did a few years ago. Decided to go with the closed air box option. The Volant with Donaldson PowerCore filter. Installed a filter minder to tell when it's really time to replace it. Like this setup better than the S&B kit.714345745.jpg975850274.jpg

Added the pedal commander yesterday. Boy does it make a difference in the throttle. Went from stock to city mode. Responded better. Went to sport mode level 4. Holy hell. About launched me in the back seat when I stepped on the gas like I normally do. PXL_20201104_001233970.jpg

Installed new fox performance 2.0 reservoir shocks today. They ride very nice. Next up will be a new front driveshaft this weekend. Getting rid of the stock one. These shocks are a little longer and I'm sure that fat factory shaft rubber boot will touch the exhaust crossover pipe when disconnected.PXL_20210128_232602788.jpgPXL_20210128_232731986.jpg
