Flying over Lake George before landing in Anchorage…there are no shortages of glaciers here.

The view from my hotel last night…at 9:30 pm. One of my bags didn’t make the flt…fortunately I always carry on my rods & reels, and pack an extra days clothing and jacket in my backpack. The bag did show up late last night, and was able to retrieve it early this morning before heading out tow the Katmai Peninsula

Flying over Alaska is an awesome sight for sure. I’ve stayed with family that lived in Eagle River, visited anchorage, Whittier (through the tunnel) and been on a boat up to a Glacier. Wildest landscapes I’ve ever seen.
