Haven't actually made the purchase of the JL as yet, but made final decision yesterday. Once financing is confirmed, I will be picking mine up.

Right hand drive for Guyana, 2023 JL Rubicon. 2.0l turbo 4. What we have available in various trim levels is different from what you might get in the US though.

I have had my previous vehicle (Toyota Hilux 3l diesel) for 16 years from new.

Heading into the Rupununi on Sunday for a week (mountains and savannah) and absolutely cannot wait. I have not been offroad since April and this may be the last offroad trip in my Hilux.

The photo is a village called Karasabai and the last easy leg before heading into those mountains. Takes 12 hours to drive to this village, offroad, but no real challenges. After this, you spend days traveling sometimes less than 20 miles.

Welcome to wayalife. The driving age must be very young over there. You don’t look more than about ten.

If anyone is interested, I put a horrible and waaaay too long video up on YouTube here:

For context I could not mount my old Galaxy Fold 3 in a position to get it to see out properly so the first half is heavily cropped and wasn't good in the first place.
