I believe they do. Plus they have that turbine in there that is supposed to spin all the crap out. We’ll have to see if they chime in.

I agree with you, not nearly as bad as the back of the pack out west. But running dirt roads here, which are like fire roads out west, get pretty nasty and five years of that and the intake is still clean.

Caught the Bug
Mine was trashed from NYs run too . At one point on the drive home the AC just started spitting dust clouds into the main cabin . Pulled over, replaced the filter, cleaned cabin filter inside glove box , and blasted Fan for a few minutes

Ask Ed, Brute, how many times he cleaned or changed his filter. He runs the same set up I have, and I’d bet he didn’t. That will give you an honest comparison between the guys on the New Years run that ran with out a snorkel and pre filter and his that had it. I’m interested to know!

I've just installed the pre filter recently, so I'll let you know when I check my filter in a day or two...I'm expecting it to be pretty clean. I've been running the snorkel with the ram intake for nearly five years, and even without the prefilter, my air filter has been much cleaner than the other rigs I ran the same trails with due to the higher intake point...not to mention colder, denser air than from under the hood...
Just need a snorkel for the cabin air filter...hehe
