Fifty Build Thread

Well it happens maybe won't be too wet going home 😳
I knew a guy that worked at the farm with me had his top down and it rained he took old cardboard and taped it to the roll bars and drove home that way said it wasn't too bad

I did the exact same thing. I just have to finish running the wiring now. Does your sPod allow you to keep the dual control of the lights (ie - turn on when in reverse or turn on manually)?

I have a standard transmission and lost the backup lights when I took off the bumper and put on the EVO Armor and Tire Carrier so for me the backup lights are just on when I push the button.

Front license plate mount...unfortunately it's a Texas requirement. I had to modify the mount by adding 1.5 inches of some crush washers and a small cable leash to try to decrease the risk of getting the plate stolen. Mel Wade posses with Fifty. Mel dropped by my favorite local Jeep shop and was kind enough to take some pics with us. Then we all went out for dinner and introduced Mel to TexMex. He's an amazing, gracious and humble guy with lots of great insider stories to tell.

Due to the terrible battery life of the GoPro cameras I put in the Astra Depot USB power socket and hooked it up to the sPOD. This way you can hook up a direct USB power source to your GoPro and never have to worry about battery life.

I modified the case by cutting a small whole in the side to allow the power cord to plug in. I have a non waterproof case that I can just plug and unplug at any time and I have a waterproof one that has the cord permanently attached to the power cord as I used silicone to waterproof the jury rigged hole I put in the side of the case.
