Ok bubba need your help on this one I have been going at this thing by hand for quite some time now making very slow work of it and now I'm getting this pattern inside like I'm not getting enough pressure on it. Do you drill ream the pitman? This reamer doesn't fit in my drill

I had to use a drill. I picked up an inexpensive drill from Harbor Freight with a 1/2” chuck. Not sure if you have a HF store nearby.

Yeah so I think trying to do this by hand has let it woble around a little
I actually found a 12 point socket that fits over the top of the reamer so I'm gonna give it a go with my impact nice and easy see if it smooths out

I did tear the boot on that TRE messing with it the other day which is frustrating. Not sure if I should replace it or just let it leak grease

Next time you should try using cutting oil. WD40 is not cutting oil. Might make it smoother.
