You can always borrow my bumper!
I would but I think it would "accidentally" get lost near Fontana. Thanks bud.

Okay, I've been getting a lot of requests for this and, if you were one of the many who've been wanting to see what this looks like with the Rotopax mounted sideways, here ya go.... As you'll notice, I relocated the license plate to a location that I had been thinking about for a while now and that's just above the trailer hitch. To do it, I made a bracket out of some steel and secured it to two of the hitch receiver cross member bolts. Overall, I think I actually like the way everything looks better this way. Certainly, I now have a lot more clearance too. :yup:
Can you mount jerry cans on the the side of the EVO tire carrier? Is their a kit for that? I would like to carrier 5 or 10 gal of fuel as an option.

A buddy of mine welded brackets on each side of the tire and mounted his there looks like they're sitting on the top bar that angles back to the body.

Doesn't look too bad actually. Does it still sit higher then the tire? Wouldn't want it to get ripped off while wheeling.
I guess you could mount the rotopax sideways. Nothing would touch it then.
What's the antenna on the driver's side for?
Here's another solution for mounting if you have a roof rack, which I like. Not sure where you'd be going that you'd need 3 10-gal containers, but it's a neat idea if you do.

A little off topic but I noticed you have your what im assuming is a ham radio antenna on tje drivers side and your cb antenna on the passenger side. Do you ever have both on at once and do the antennas being close effect your signal?
I have both but switch my antennas depending on who im wheeling with and at times it would be nice to have both on due to others not having both systems. I spoke to a guy and he said that that if I wanted to run both at the same time I.needed to have one antenna on the front and one on the back so they didnt interfere with each other.

That is a race radio not a ham.
I prefer to not have it on and only run it when I need it. Having said that, so far so good.Awesome write up! Any feedback now since it's almost a year? I am looking to do this asap!
Also what does the bracket for the license plate look like?
Do you think this might work as well? Better? Worse?

one last thing for arguments sake, do you think it is sturdy enough for 2 of the 4 gallon tanks?
Which one are you looking for, the one that I attached to the rotopax itself or the one on the rear cross member? I'll try to take a pic of it and get it posted.
