EVO Tire Carrier Rotopax Gas Can Mount Solution

Can you mount jerry cans on the the side of the EVO tire carrier? Is their a kit for that? I would like to carrier 5 or 10 gal of fuel as an option.

The sides? Not sure what you mean. If you mean where the bars angle into the body, I wouldn't as it would block your tail lights.
 
A buddy of mine welded brackets on each side of the tire and mounted his there looks like they're sitting on the top bar that angles back to the body.

Here's another solution for mounting if you have a roof rack, which I like. Not sure where you'd be going that you'd need 3 10-gal containers, but it's a neat idea if you do.

I've run roof racks in the past and not a fan of them. They are noisy, create a lot of wind drag and throw off your center of gravity. But, it is another solution that I'm sure a lot will like.

A little off topic but I noticed you have your what im assuming is a ham radio antenna on tje drivers side and your cb antenna on the passenger side. Do you ever have both on at once and do the antennas being close effect your signal?

I have both but switch my antennas depending on who im wheeling with and at times it would be nice to have both on due to others not having both systems. I spoke to a guy and he said that that if I wanted to run both at the same time I.needed to have one antenna on the front and one on the back so they didnt interfere with each other.

I prefer to not have it on and only run it when I need it. Having said that, so far so good.

Which one are you looking for, the one that I attached to the rotopax itself or the one on the rear cross member? I'll try to take a pic of it and get it posted.

This would work way better especially if you are wanting to carry 2 of the 4 gallon tanks. I just couldn't find a way to install it with as little effect to the EVO tire carrier. As mentioned, I prefer NOT to carry rotopax cans. If you're okay with it, I'm sure you could use a set of u-bolts to secure the bracket to the EVO tubes.

the one where the plate is attached to the can. Unfortunately in NY i have to have a light on the plate so i had to rig something up but it bolts to the license plate so i can put it anywhere!
 
Wasn't EVO coming up with their own "Bolt on setup"? Ideally I would love a setup that allowed for the license plate to remain in the "standard" location, but allows for rotopax when they are needed.
