EVO Rear Bolt On

Nope. You come clean here on the forum and own up to what you did and we can start to make this go away. Of course, if you want to stick to your story, that's fine too - I will call Drew in the morning and verify it.

Well funny as it may seem JK's JK's posts are riddled with deception. I know it's just text and all but I have a tad bit if experience in this area.

JK's JK like I said before be honest. That means 100% honest. Because telling 97% of the truth is still a lie.

Ok. It would be great if I could talk. I have a bunch of questions about installs and recommendations.

Ya know... If ORE had decent instructions and the correct hardware with there kits all this coulda been avoided.

I just went thru the same thing, but obviously not as bad as you had it Jesse! I was more concerned with all the extra hardware I had. Already missing a set of bump stop extension dealio's just made me wonder if there was something else I was missing.

You shoulda seen the pile I had left over after I did the fronts!!

ORE and King need to have a conversation with each other and get there kits straightened out.

But it must be a "builders kit" right?? They kinda expect you to know what your doing already... Pffftt, what a fool... Asking for destructions! You should be ashamed Jesse!!

I usually don't like quoting myself but:

Of course. But guess what, part of the beauty of a high end coilover suspension is its adjustability to various tastes and needs. By definition, it requires fine tuning and a certain level of upkeep by the user. Honestly dude, after reading some of your suspension posts over the last week or so, I'm thinking you should stick with a basic lift. No offense, but you seem like a Ron Popeil "set it and forget it" kinda guy. Coilovers might not be for you.

ORE does not make EVO MFG products. Yes, Mel does own both companies but they are physically in separate building and run by different people. Drew works for ORE and sells EVO MFG products just like Northridge and the fact that he would answer questions for people in spite of the fact that they are not his customer speaks volumes about him and the company he works for. But, I digress. EVEN IF Off ORE were responsible for the lack of good instructions or hardware, it doesn't change the fact that your buddy lied to me and really, that's the only thing that matters at the moment.

I'd be glad to talk with you Eddie. This is your forum and I'm a visitor on this forum. I'm here to ask questions and learn from people that have more knowledge about this stuff than I do. You could block your phone number so we could straighten this all out. I'll PM you my number.

Sorry ,I may sound like a parrot here, and I know it's difficult for you to follow directions but if I read correctly he said he wants you to come clean here, on the forum. But I don't make the rules just trying to give some helpful direction.....

Jesse, for the record, I am not going to side with you on this or have your back when you're going to ignore Eddie as well as try to bring Brandon down with you. Brandon May have been there at the beginning but I have a hard time believing he was there thru the whole ordeal. He's a highly intelligent guy and I'm certain he would've figured it out without all the threads and chaos you've started over this crap.

I'd agree here. This was a public matter and Eddie want the closure to be equally as public. It's not a personal thing with Eddie, in that he's gonna drop what he's doing and call you.

Just come clean here and all will be fine. Eddie is a man of his word and you go back and see what he requested and do that and things will be fine.

The more you skirt the issue the worse it will appear. I've seen this play out before. 😉👍

Jesse, DO NOT try to get me involved by calling me on the phone. I'm not the one you need to be talking to. When this is done, my tools and such need to be taken to JD's and that will be the end of it.

CO it's self? I started to thread them down but it's a process.....Wish zero load on them they where hard to move by hand.

Mine was the same way, just torqued it down to lightly hand torqued. You dont want to torque it down like crazy and strip the plate

Did you actually bottom out? If so then add a couple washers.. You are making this install 100x harder than it needs to be

^^^This. As stated in the very beggining of the instructions....some modification, cutting etc would be needed. Find a problem and make mild modifications to make it work. Trust in your instincts and do what it takes to get the job done.

I really don't understand the bashing of EVO and ORE about instructions here. When you receive your parts do you not read the instructions? When I got my lift (used) I went through everything and printed the instructions and parts checklist to see if I was missing anything or had questions. I had questions and PM'ed those that I knew could help me to figure it out. When the time came to install it I had some hiccups and again PM'ed those that were helpful. I never once pointed the finger at who I got the lift from or the company who makes the kit (even when I called and said company had no clue about some of their parts).

There are resources here that can be used but to try and use those resources and ignore those trying to help you is idiotic. On top of that to not even call the company who sold you the kit and/or the company who makes the kit first is also idiotic. It is YOUR fault for not going through the parts you received and checking everything out. It is YOUR fault for not asking the question about the hardware that was attached to the kings that is extra (even though common sense says EVO isn't going to go through every box of shocks to pull out the king hardware and just out theirs in).

You are burning bridges here (just like the one on I15) and they are all but burnt all the way. Come clean, say why you didn't call northridge, why you called ORE, and why you avoided questions. You've been here long enough to see that coming clean here will make this shit water under the bridge. As said in another thread earlier today, grow a set and be a man about it.

End long post.

Wow! I went to bed early last night and missed all the excitement. Reading through it this morning I can't help but wondering when the thread title is going to be changed to "JK's JK...thou shalt not lie."

As soon as he starts yet another thread about his screw up, he's up at least 3 now.
