Evap Canister woes

New can is in! Took a little vice and hammer time to get the bracket back in shape... After getting the new one It looks like a might have been able to salvage the "old" one except for a few of the mounting nipples and bolt holes... Would have been a good candidate for a relocation mount! Guess I'll save it and start my spares stash:)

if u have free access to a scan tool i would scan and make sure the code is gone and not saved in the ecm:thumb: not sure how your vehicle inspections are there, but in cali if you have a stored code you wont pass. also im not sure if these jeeps are like some of the other obd2 cars ive had, but on one of my cars after i cleared a code, i had to wait for the "monitors" the show ready before i could smog the car. that required me to drive and do a bunch of stupid things like hold xxMph for so far, ect. which would happen with normal driving eventually, but was a pita trying to do quickly so i could smog the car.

Here in Texas I have never had to SMOG test, but next time I'm near a reader I will double check just to make sure it really cleared :)
