Hey Ed, wanting to get an update on the Ikamper mini. How you liking it so far? I’m really thinking about getting one…

I just used mine for the first time on Saturday and am very happy with the purchase.

I love it…it is the perfect size to be able to mount it below the roofless be so I can still get my truck on 40’s (back to them when I wear out the 38’s) into the garage…

Ok that’s what I was hoping. I like that it fits in the bed of the gladiator. Plus how easy it is to put away. Looks like a Bed rack and RRT is in my future.

I didn’t catch anything. I’m told the river is higher and faster than usual right now. Shore fishing was challenging for sure. Been about 25 years since I have used a fly rod though, so there is that. Lol. I saw a ton of people rafting and fishing but never saw anyone pull something in.

You can fully rig your rods, then break them down in half…

That’s how I usually have them setup once I’m situated. Would be nice to leave them that way in the rod vaults.

Needed to replace my two batteries…got rid of the battery isolator from Genesis that wasn’t working correctly (and the parasitic draw). Installed a true isolator and cleaned up the wiring so the starting battery is truly isolated…

Installed a momentary switch in the cab to join both batteries if in a low starting battery situation…only joins the batteries while pressing the switch

Also moved the rear dust lights to the end of the rack…they were on the rear tube close to the cab previously before the rtt…

Yes...both batteries are recharged by the alternator during driving...

no...both are bolted down in the original Genesis tray..

Ahh…no, it’s a tire carrier from a full sized truck…it unwinds till the tire is on the bed.
