The stream near the campsite was ultra clear and skinny...had a couple follow some micro crystal buggers, but no takers; switched to dry's (mosquito), and started to hook up on a couple foot longs...

Sounds like this is my future as well. I've already been doing that. Any pros/cons or things you'd change? That's 2.00 tubing I assume?

I’m kind of thinking something like this for the JT, with an aluminum attachment that will clamp on and extend to the back of the bed when I need it for camping. I can’t see myself with a full bed rack all the time.
