Yup, sure is.
Was wondering. I see the PSC res is back by the battery. I believe that is the same for the 08'. Was thinking of getting A high flow setup as I believe I have a bad pulley seal.

View attachment 143328View attachment 143329 The Genesis tray is by far the cleanest I've seen and it's worth the money. There wasn't any trimming needed to accommodate my front coilovers either. As far as batteries, odysseys are far better than the Optimas but if you want to save a few bucks, the Sears Diehard Platinum is the same as an Odyssey.

Looks really good! At what point is dual battery needed? I only have a pair of A pillar lights and a CB running now, but am adding a winch now. Do I need dual battery yet?
In your own words, "Redundancy"
Got it, thank you
Sorry, meant to quote CanvasJK
Ah ok, I thought it was a vague reply , but I do understand the idea of redundancy in electrical engineering. I thought you were basically saying it's worth getting dual battery to increase the reliability of the overall electrical system.
If you do have a more detailed reply to the original question of "when is a dual setup necessary" I'm eager to learn more.
Thank so much for the knowledge
Ok, here's what I just told Will in a text. "You and I both have a manual trans. That's a problem in a long pull. We can't just put it in park and idle. We have to be in gear with the engine off or we'll drag ourselves to the problem. Anchoring off doesn't always work either. I dragged Mumbo AND my dads tractor the other day."
I was pulling down a dead oak tree. I'm not saying it's absolutely necessary to have a second battery but it does come in handy when you drain the primary one.
..He explained that it'll be ready to drop in, put 2 batteries in and go..

Sorry, doesn't matter what brand it is, it's not going to be anything close to plug and play.

You know, I couldn't find the Diehards and had to go with the Odyssey batteries. I do like the Genesis.

They sell them at Sears, and they're even cheaper if you order site to store from their website.
