Downsizing to a 2 door

Caught the Bug
Been debating on selling my 2018 jlu rubicon and getting a 2 door jl willys. My logic is i have a gladiator so I don't need two 4 doors. Also my mother recently had a stroke and I would have to take her everywhere. Drove a 25 willys on a test drive and loved it. Just honestly looking for input if it's worth it.

Run the numbers and see what it's gonna cost you. The '25s are pretty damn sweet, but it's gonna be expensive. My guess is $15k-$20k

No way.

and if the only reason is to drive mom around get a lower easy to enter/exit car
this, get a car with larger door openings, seats that automatically slide back making it easy to get in and out, and if possible that has height adjustment.

Ex had an Equus (brand is now Genesis), after my double knee replacement, that car was so easy to get in and out of because the suspension was able to raise, the door opening was large, and the seat slid back far enough I barely had to bend my knees to get in and out of it.

First, this is America. It doesn’t matter if you need two four doors or not. If it comes down to need, sell both Jeeps and buy something sensible and boring because that’s all you need to get from point A to point B. What matters is what you want. Do you want a two door Wrangler? Or a four door?

Second, a two door won’t make things easier for mom than a four door. That’s why we take mom out in the Grand Cherokee, not the two door Wrangler.

Third- What are you thinking, trading a Rubicon for a Willys?!? That’s a move backwards. If you’re thinking “I don’t really need a Rubicon”, stop it! That will only lead you down a slippery slope into a Subaru or *shudder *

Something battery operated…
