Destroyed front LCA brackets. But what else?

I could not tell you how awesome some fresh Cajun cooking would be! That said, don't leave heaven to drive up to this hell; we will meet on the trails one day! I have had the Jeep community shower me with kindness since I joined it just over a year ago when I purchased my JK. I am so more than happy to pay it forward! As an aside, if you don't already have one of these or have ever heard about them, GET ONE! I have been working on vehicles for nearly 40 years and just learned about it. It has saved me hours already! Next Steps: I will investigate how sound the joints are on the tierod and draglink I just removed tonight and will email you. Do you need any control arms or a trackbar too? I have two sets of stock control arms and a spare stock trackbar if you need that as well!

Well, it looks like i lost Scott. So, back to the request for best parts ordering options. Amazon is competitive on some but a bit high on others so I may have to mix it up. One question I have is, how imperative is it to go with higher end parts now if I am planning to buy a lift in the near future?
And if anyone else has some old parts in their garage they'd be willing to let go at a reasonable price, please let me know!

I would decide what lift you want, then parts that you need now you could buy what will be needed for the lift rather than buying something twice.
also, not to scare you but a wreck that’s bad enough to rip CA arm brackets off and bend the DL could also tweak the frame, even if it’s not noticeable. I’d get it to a frame alignment shop and have it all measured out before you get too deep in repairs…

Thanks. Yeah, I wondered about that as well. Some gaps on the hood are off from before and I hope that it’s from the fender taking a hit. I’m going to do some measurements myself and if they’re off much at all I’ll have it looked at.
 
I might’ve missed it but is there a reason you’re not just throwing a long arm lift kit at it? That way you’ve got fully adjustable arms, don’t need to replace the lower mounts etc. ? Or did it rip the lca mounts on the axle not the frame?
Especially if you’re looking at lifts anyways.

The simplest answer is $$.
The long answer is that I’ve been out of work since the election and my employer shut down to ‘see’ what will happen. (I’m X-ray for the pipeline industry) And I’ve been arguing and doing everything I can to get my unemployment paid through the great state of Oklahoma. But I still haven’t seen one check. So I’ve been stretching every dollar for the past 6 months and now I’m broke with a broken ride.
I just need it on the road for now. It’s my daily and the little bit of money I’ve been able to go out and make is not happening if I can’t get to it
 
Sorry! I am alive! I just responded to your email and we are good to go for the parts. I got sent out of town unexpectedly for work and did not have access to my email on my new phone. The one thing I will mention is that you will need to get the joint for the pitman side of the draglink as the one good draglink I have, I had to cut the stud on the pitman side as the nut was frozen. Everything else is in GREAT shape and should last you until you can upgrade. My suggestion: Yeti draglink and tierod and Core 4X4 control arms as both have worked well for me.

That said, here is what I have gathered:
1. Stock Draglink
2. Stock Tierod
3. Stock Front Lower Control Arms

If you're looking to change industries it may be worth checking out Non-Destructive Test *Engineer/Specialist/Technician* (not sure what level you'd be looking at or naming convention these companies use) in the orthopedic industry. You may also want to check out structural steel manufacturers, I know Steel Dynamics in Northern Indiana makes structural and rail steel. I don't think they do a lot of x-ray from talking to my brother. But it sounded like they did have some testing capabilities like that. Good luck with the job/finding a job and your jeep man.

Also, don't worry about shipping costs... Hearing what you have been through, I think you have enough on your plate! Me and my family have weathered the pandemic much better, and I would be glad to share some of the benefits we have received with someone who got the short end of the stick.

This isn't just any ol forum it truly is a community. This is why so many of us will defend it and the people who are a part of it. Many on here I've never met in person but feel like they're old friends.

Let me get home and check my parts stash. I may have some things laying around you could use.

Track at looks much better now. The parts that Scott sent arrived today! Looking forward to getting under it this weekend.
