dcbjk Build Thread and Picture Diary

I did red on my trim pieces. Got a can of valspar from Home Depot which was pretty damn close to factory.

The contrast looks really good! Whats the story on your Pioneer radio? I looked back through your build thread but didn't see when you put that in. Is it a sat radio and do you like it?

Looks good :thumb:

Thanks WJCO it was a fun little mod and I like the way it turned out. Gives D-day a bit more personlization

I may have missed posting up that little project. I have have ran a few different dash units in my last two vehicles and I always ended up using the Pioneers there good enough for the money. Anyway I bought an FH-X720BT (Blue Tooth radio) along with aftermarket dash unit installation brackets for
- up for Jeeps. I want to keep my SWC's (Steering Wheel Controls) so i bought a RadioPro4 Radio Replacement Interface (RP4-CH11) made by PAC. Installation took some time and it was definitely a tight fit but when it was all done it fit good.

I like the way the pioneer work it has all the amenities like USB ipod slot, AUX plug, Bluetooth phone connection, I was more interested in the equalizers and sound settings for better quality sound.

I hope this answers your question.

Looks awesome david!

Thanks Steve really do appreciate there was alot of time put into it for such a small mod. But the time was well worth it.

Yep, it sure does, thanks! I always liked Pioneers in the past but it's been a while since I've done an aftermarket radio. I really wish I'd gone with a sat radio now but maybe I'll change it out.
Always enjoy your build thread!
