Day Trip to the Rubicon - April 4th

I bought the 9w. Did 2 in each wheel well... Then I'm going to add 2 on each side. Probably mount them to the body mounts. Just to give some light there.

Thanks for the link! Just ordered the exact ones. Just curious, how long did it take you to receive them here in CA? Amazon Prime wasn't an option and it estimates delivery anytime between Thursday of this week and Wednesday of next week.

Try to gauge if I'm going to get them in time for my wiring projects this weekend! :)

If you guys don't mind babysitting a newbie. (Only have one trail under my belt) and I get my rock rails in I'd like to go.

Less than a week. It was quick.
 
Is there a good lodging choice or RV park we could use for Friday and Saturday? We may be able to make this the end of our week in CA.
 
Sorry if I missed it, but is the plan to head out and off the trail on Saturday? If so, is there a time in mind? (yes, I know anything can happen…)

I think I have family in town that weekend, but one never knows when one might need a break. :yup:

Yes that's the plan. No "official" time kind have to gauge group progress lol. I wouldn't mind being off the trail / back to camp before dark.
 
How far is the meeting spot Saturday from a city or town say S.Lake Tahoe? Wife and tent camping don't mix. That's why I think a day trip is the way for her to say she did the Rubicon.

About 2 hours 15 minutes. Pollack pines is 1 hour away I just don't know of any spots there personally.

We are camping both Friday and Saturday night and are driving back Easter Sunday. I know a few wanted too as well but some will head out Saturday.

Yes camping most likely just past the slabs on the trail.

I think this is our plan also but not 100% sure about Saturday night. I'm sure my wife will want to stay.

Yah. I will get them tonight... I actually haven't mounted the body mount ones yet.
 
Could you add me the the Wanting to go list please? (not the going list, not the maybe list, and not the pretending to go list but the Wanting to go list) :thumb:

That way if I magically show up it is not unexpected and if I don't I'm not flakey :cheesy:
