Sure sounds like alternator. Make sure all large connections are tight and that belt is tight.

If this is the AUX battery, why suspect the alternator? If the alternator has a problem, it seems that the primary battery would exhibit problems first.

Charging voltage dropped to 12.9.

Ok, the problem could also be the main battery. Maybe it has low impedance and is not charging properly.

Ok, I went back in time and see that the main battery was replaced a couple of weeks ago. Your brain may have better retention than mine. Certainly you are much more retentive.

Update.
Voltage was at 14.4 and this morning it dropped to 12.9. That “A” start stop light is back .
Any ideas. Alternator is going?
Also had to use air compressor today but did it while engine is running

check the ground from the alternator to under the Jeep, sometimes the nut works loose and cause issues.
