Lol yeah I tend to do that sometimes.
It's all good. I definitely understand wanting to be safe about it.

Yeah I was just thinking about the fenders flapping around. Wasn't sure if the supports underneath are enough to keep them solid with changing the way the air travels over them. I like the way it looks and think everyone has done a great job of it!
You can also from the factory "skeleton" under them for more support and just bolt it back on. You have to do this if you want to reuse the factory flares.

Mine tend to flap a little at highway speeds. My solution is to cut them narrower which I shall do asap!
That's what I was thinking Jimmy, is if the fenders are trimmed a little narrower that it would be ok with the wind.
Yeah I also think it depends on how much of the under fender (or fender support) is cut back. I had mine cut back pretty far because I didn't like the look of seeing it on the edge
Looks good BRaVell, what size tires are you running? I am running 315/70/17's with my coilovers set at 3.5". I'm wondering if it will make my tires look funny.
That depends on the backspacing of your wheels. The less backspacing, the more they will stick out.

finally got around to trying the fender cut mod. Still have some work to do, my saws all wasn't the best for this particular job but hey it's just plastic that can be cut some more right! View attachment 218272
They are also 315/70/17s. And on 3.5 Mc dual rate coils probably closer to 4 net loft tho. I had the same concern and I thought it would look funny as well. But I am happy with the way it turned out. Painting the well black helped alot I think.
I used an angle grinder with a metal cut disk. I wasn't that impressed with the cut wither. I think a hand held jigsaw would do much better.
