Cut Fender Thread

I did mine in a hurry after work today. Less than 2 hours. I left more fender on there then I will end up with. I'm going to trim back the front more to be almost level and taper the bottom instead of the radius. It's always easier to cut plastic rather than put it back on!

I was going to cut down the rear liners and put them back in, but I think I'll try some spray on bedliner first to see how that looks.

That looks really good! Thinking when I cut mine I am going to use about the same lines and leave 3/4 to 1" on the sides to install the 3/4" marker lights.

Have y'all noticed a lot of flapping at highway speeds with them cut? I drive about 60 miles round trip to work with about 50 of that highway miles.

No flapping at all. We even pulled all the inner supports as well.

No, there's a little movement but not much at all and I can't say it wasn't doing that before I cut them.

I will be trimming my flares hopefully next month. I am glad to see this thread is quite long filled with all kinds of different way to do this. Thanks everybody.
I have two sets of flares, painted and black. I want to cut one and save one set for winter to have more tire coverage. I am debating on which set to cut [emoji848]

I pulled out the saw again and trimmed the fronts and radiused all the corners. Bed liner in rear fender wheels. Door trim on edges. I put a rivet through the top to keep it from flapping in the highway.

Just door edging. Available from any auto parts store. Typically used to protect door edges from getting scratched or dented when opening doors.

Did you just slip in on and shrink it with heat gun, or put a little glue inside of it?
