I've taken the time to swap out all the lights inside and outside my wrangler. All the inside bulbs are a bright and crisp 5k bulb. Almost all of them were simple and just required swapping out bulbs. But, there were 3 areas where Jeep did not use bulbs, which required me to solder new LED's. Something I had no previous experience with. I'm super happy with the outcome, but if nothing else, I really enjoyed the learning process. Not only did I want to swap out the LED's for color purposes, but I also wanted more light illuminated, especially since the back seats don't have anything at all.
1) 2 Map lights in rear view mirror
2) Footwell lights that turn on when you unlock, open or turn on all lights.
3) Footwell lights that turn on when the vehicle gets turned on/in drive
All 3 of these locations come with very dim yellow/orange light and I just couldn't have the mismatched lighting in the cab.
Footwell lights - (These only turn on when unlock, door open or turn on all cabin lights)
Cut the positive and negative running to the stock LED. Soldered +/- lead lines off the LED strip and then connected to original lines
