No kidding. Even with an N95 mask, you can almost feel it more than smell it. It's so intense. I caught 7 last year and only one didn't spray. Every one was instant kill shot but somehow they still get that shit out.

The very first one I wore a tyvek suit when I shot it because of where it was and I had to get really close to it for a clear shot. It actually didn't spray. The others were shot from enough distance not to worry about it. All of the others that spray/leak, it's about 30-60 seconds later. I've learned just get out of the area quickly. When I remove them from the trap about 30 minutes later a lot of the smell in the air is gone except for right near the skunk. After I dump them in the woods I leave my clothes outside and a few hours later, there's no smell on the clothes.

The first one that sprayed, after I moved it later, I came in the house with clothes on and my wife was pissed. She could smell it before I even came up the stairs lol.

Same here, shot the first one from about 25 feet, it instantly sprayed, I immediately retreated but the smell was already on my clothes.
