At least the fog is not very dense. We have been on the highway a few times already where the fog is so dense you can barely see well enough to stay on the road. Like you can not see anything at all past 25'. Scary as F*!Again with the fog today…View attachment 419119

When I am not working, or when I have free time, my twin and I are out with a buddy or two chasing storms in the Spring. Have seen some beautiful clouds, and some terrifying destruction. The first three way cool the tornados nope ain’t happenin
I bet. I went through a town in Nebraska not long after one hit the devastation was unreal .When I am not working, or when I have free time, my twin and I are out with a buddy or two chasing storms in the Spring. Have seen some beautiful clouds, and some terrifying destruction.
To me, tornadoes are fascinating, from a safe distance. The sound and the destruction can be horrifying. More than a few chases have been called off to start helping and looking for people if we see a house get hit. Thankfully we have never come across the worst case scenario.
Its actually pretty thrilling to chase, and it also helps protect lives.
Have a few tales I could share, but don't really want to take away from this thread and its meaning. You can always look up the unheard of tornadoes of May 3rd, 1999, particularly the Mulhall, OK tornado. Me and a few college friends were on it. It will be engrained in my brain until I pass from this earth. The smell and the total destruction. The tornado almost flattened the entire town. Sadly, that town got hit a second time a few hours later in the night.I bet. I went through a town in Nebraska not long after one hit the devastation was unreal .
