Ha... that make more sense.
That actually makes more sense since I do think they said something around $40. I was starting to think I got burned on the certs. [emoji23]

They base the price on the cost of the tire, so it depends. I'm not sure what I'm paying for them as I just asked for the bottom line. I'll let you know tomorrow.

That’s good to have...that way you can carry around a creosote bush in case there aren’t any to run into...

That's one way to make sure to get my money's worth for sure.Reminds me of some friends I had growing up. They would buy "Big O" tires with a lifetime guarantee. When they would get half worn, they would drive around in the greasewood and then go get new tires.
For those who don't know, greasewood is kind of like creosote bush, a known tire killer
No, because I only bought 4 tires. Can’t you just buy one cert? I mean, how are they going to assign it to a particular tire? You don’t buy five, do you?

Too bad the certs don’t cover radiators....

In having a few tires warrantied by DT, they record the DOT numbers on the sidewall. Those are checked when trying to get a tire replaced.
Figures, an attorney always tries to skirt the rules. [emoji12]

Unless you have the luck of Clearskies and blow out two at the same time.I remember why I didn’t buy the certificates.....
View attachment 326188.
Save your money and IF (big if) you puncture a tire your only out a few bucks more compared to the extra cost of the warranty thing.

Me too, as a rule, except on things over $1000. That makes me think twice.I blew one out on my very first drive on brand new tires. [emoji23]
I still won’t buy the certs. lol
I’m also a non believer (sucker) for extended warranties on anything I buy.
No worries, I can take it.Sorry James... couldn’t resist

Says on their website you have 30 days from the time you buy from them but I think there is fine print somewhere. I’ve bought them on a set that I bought somewhere else.
