Coolant Question

Did a coolant change not too long ago and used the Mopar 50/50 mix. Have some left over and going to do an oil cooler housing swap today or tomorrow and the coolant hose. Thinking I have enough coolant to top off. But if not, is it ok to use another coolant brand that I can get at local auto zone so long as it’s the same type? Logically I think this is a yes but taking second opinions. Lol.

Nothing I love more than ripping apart the jeep on a chilly weekend. My hands and joints love it lol

If you're that close on volume, just add water afterwards to top it off. I've done it for years.

Here’s a classic read in case you don’t already know:

If you can, drain the coolant into a clean bucket before starting. This will reduce the chance of coolant getting into the exposed oil ports when removing the oil cooler.
