Coming up to Speed With Grubbicon

I actually have a d-ring tab sitting in the shop. After going back and forth with mike we left it off, but i may go back and burn it in. He wants to see a hook that bangs around and makes noise :cheesy:

Haha, the rattle box destined for rattle rock.

Cleaned up some of the wiring today and trimmed the front track bar reinforcement bracket and put it back on. I also had my spare mounted today now i just need to move the bolts on the evo carrier. I caint wait for the shakedown tomorrow at Choccolocco.

Is your pumpkin clearing your trackbar mount? I had to move mine forward or it was going to blast the pumpkin on uptravel. Also, still running the sector shaft brace with a ram?

My trackbar mount hasnt been hitting the pumpkin. At full bump the the track bar is practically sitting on it.

Yesterday turned out pretty good for the jeep. Im pretty happy with it and no major failures. The winch cable broke (again lol) a evo carrier mount twisted up and my brother got in it and folded the tierod. I have to give him some credit on bending a 1.5" .25wall piece of dom that bad. I guess when he landed on the gas and goin backward it had enough.

A word to the wise...never let your brother drive!...

So he might want me to drive and fuck it so i have to fix it better than it was originally.

How is everything holding up after the pre-run to the Gulches and the EOS run?

After the shakedown at the gulches other then the folded up tierod the jeep did great. After the other one was build the ram was moved so it was flatter because are though was the slight angle helped bend the tierod. Thursday night at Windrock we got back from a ride and i just happened to look down and notice two Ujoint caps gone on the my driverside axle shaft. Went to town and grabbed a couple ujoints and after putting it back together we noticed the ears on the shaft were opened up to the point the new caps just fell in and you could see light around them. Next morning I found a man with a welder and we burned them in hoping they weren't going to back out. It survived the weekend but now Im in need for some front shafts. Im highly considering a set of RCVs but not sure yet.

Nice, sounds like your working out the few kinks. I'm pretty bummed that I didn't get to see it in action in person at the EOS run. Hopefully I'll get an opportunity later on this year. :thumb:

Man some Carnage there buddy! Looking good.

All the carnage has happened going easy too lol. Only me

Dude, the glowing headers pic is still my favorite.

Oh I agree definitely one of my favorites.

I feel like so far ive been doing pretty good with the kinks for a fresh build. Im loving the way it works so far I think the tires are holding it back though. I really want to go to a bias or a sticky but idk yet. We will get out and wheel somewhere for sure.
