Gonna need to order driveshafts. Kinda hard to measure with not tcase lol. After that though I believe brakes and mounting the ram. I think thats its.

You could've eye balled it! Lol! Getting really close though, I bet you are excited.

Last night I started to mess with the bender and got a tierod build. Its got 20* bends on either side and now I realized that I should of put more bend in it because I ended up a bit long and barely getting into the diff cover. Im hoping I can just stick it back in the bender and get a bit more out of it. With the bungs in the end of it it may be possible but before they were in I had too much cut off and not enough material left to bend with.

After that was done I was going to build a draglink but turned out that I didnt have enough tube so Im gonna have to get more. Fast forward to this morning I got it out of the shop and up onto my dads roll back to go over to a buddys shop.

He is gonna do the gears, lockers, put the atlas in, do the brakes and more then likely gonna be putting a fuel cell in. We have come to the conclusion that there is no way this tank is gonna work considering the yoke and pumpkin is sitting on it. Now I just gotta decide between a fuel cell and the genright tank that sits in a style like a TJ. Im leaning more toward in the jeep just because I feel like that other tank will be more in the way.

Nice! Even if you pushed the rear axle back one or two inches you think that it would still hit?

Well axle is already supposed to be back and inch with the RK long arm. I think even if it went back more the driveshaft will get into it. Plus when I stuff a tire it is as far back as it can go without getting into the poison spyder flares. As of right now really leaning toward a genright 25gal tank all though $1500 sounds crazy. Odds are if I go this route and move the tank Ill end up triangulating the rear and getting rid of the 3link after I see how it does.

Ah that makes sense. You can ditch the rear track bar if you triangulate it right?

Yes it would and honestly I dont have much faith in my trackbar mount lasting through a bunch of abuse. I may have luck though selling all 6RK arms other then being stuck with the front 3.

EDIT: It would also allow me to get the LCA mounts out from underneath the axle and have a lot better clearance.

Why would you change what you have?

The rear 3 link really bothers me. If I would of started with the front and knew I was gonna have to build arms I would of went ahead and done the rear too. Also with the fact that Im now going to a fuel cell because it seem the factory tank doesn't have a chance of working I really want to triangulate the rear. Ill pick up a good 4" of ground clearance on either side because no more low hanging LCA mounts and no more axle swing.

Makes total sense. I was unaware you were three linked in the rear

Yeah I had the RK Long arm before I started this project and my original plan was to reuse it all. When I found out that the front of it didn't work now I have half the kit just laying around. Part of me just really wants to get out and use it, but wants me to change. I told my buddy to not mess with the rear end until Ive made my decision so I need to make up my mind pretty soon. I would just save it for later, but dont really want to pay him to set up another set of gears lol. I could use what I got but Id like to have a full truss if I do it because of all the force that will be put on it. I know I don't NEED it but I want it lol.

I ended up ordering a Genright 20gal fuel cell and got a few fittings and 20ft of AN Line. Im sure Ill need some more fittings and possibly more line. As far as axle goes I have decided to at least try it the way it is instead of instantly changing it.

I like that idea man. You've came this far with this one, might as well give it a shot.
