I pay close attention to the news so when a bit of news about COVID and Wuhan started to appear in December of 2019, and then reports of people getting sick on a cruise and in some rest-homes, I was totally aware of it while most were not paying any attention at all. Then on March 13, 2020 I left to work from home. When all employees were requested to return to the office (several times), I just ignored it. Three years later, I retired in August, 2024.
As a result I missed most of the COVID suckage (as well as COVID itself), and it was mostly a good thing for me.
