What year is your JK? Seems you and I have more room than tiger eye, not sure if it's because of manual dim or the year interior.

I think the person whom mounted my mirror in the factory put it up too high lol, have thought about taking it off and moving it down a bit but it doesn't bother me that much

I got the kit from quadratec for 120 I think. Came with the cb, three foot fire stick, tire carrier mount and 18 foot coax cable. It was a few years ago now. So far it has held up good.

I mounted a Uniden 520 above my rearview mirror using the following Project JK write up (see link below). the little Uniden fits well above the mirror and does not block visibility at all (hardly noticeable).

I used the Strike Force Zebra mount. Comes with all the needed hardware which is two bolts. It's screws into the middle hardtop hook behind the paneling. Simple install really.

Would that work with a 2 dr soft top? I feel that a 2dr has little room in that area so that is why I am questioning where to put it.

I like that mount. Was able to look it up and saw how it worked. Makes more sense now and see how it works. Thanks for all the info and help. Now just to decide which CB. One thing after the next!
