That’s the same CB I’ve been using forever, with pretty good luck. On my JK I used the coax connection. Hoping to do the same on the JL.

I'm using an old Rugged and it isn't all that great or at least, not anymore. I think the newer ones are much better, that or a Icom.

It really depends. I typically like a CB radio like a Cobra 29 especially being that they're affordable and a lot of people have them. However, lately, a lot of the runs we've been going on have all been with Race Radios so, there's that.
