I definitely know I could wrap them myself if I could find the material. My problem is I don't know where to find a close enough color match. Everything I've seen so far has been way off.

Also, I really like my gloss black grille and since I don't have uppers, the doors won't be used enough to make me want to change the grille to matte.

3M has a color called Sterling Silver that is an almost perfect match to Billet Silver!

As of right now, I like the doors a whole lot. They bend and bounce right back which is really nice. They have a pretty decent amount of storage inside of them as well. They're very light and easy to put on and take off.

I'm looking to get them wrapped to match my paint, but after speaking with a few companies, I may leave them black. Most companies want as much as I payed for the doors to wrap them.

May have gone a little overboard, but received my Fusion 4x4 2.5 ton tie rod last night. This thing is absolutely massive!

I'm really curious as to how an aluminum tie rod would work out. Definitely post some feedback later after you smack it a few times.

I definitely will. I was skeptical to say the least when I bought it. Now that I've seen it in person, I have no doubt that it will be just fine for what I do.

It's nothing new. The idea has been around for decades and made by various companies over the years but none that are still around. While it will flex on rocks and for the most part, return back to its original form, a tie rod that flexes isn't typically something you'd want. Death wobble come to mind? Also, it isn't a good idea to mount a ram assist to a tie rod that flexes but of course, there are other ways to mount a ram and ones that are a better solution.
 
Yeah, that's completely understandable. I won't be mounting a ram assist to it and I don't wheel extremely hard or bomb through the desert. So I'm hoping it works out for me!
